Edmore Chitukutuku
Edmore Chitukutuku is a lecturer at Sol Plaatje University, South Africa. He is an anthropologist of the state, and his research interests focus on violence. Edmore is also interested in questions around youth political participation, electoral and democratic processes, urban violence, peacebuilding, and security. Edmore has received research grants and fellowship awards from the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), including the Next Generation Social Sciences in Africa (Next Gen) and African Peacebuilding Network (APN) individual research fellowships. He has also received fellowship awards and grants from the Wenner-Gren Foundation, the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation, and the Journal of Southern African Studies Collin Murray Grant.
