Dr. Hussaina J. Abdullah is a sociologist and an independent scholar with extensive research and consultancy experience in West Africa. She has worked on various projects funded by the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development, the African Development Bank, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. She has also synthesized country reports on the African Union’s Solemn Declaration on Equality in Africa for the annual Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government meeting from 2006-2014.
