Joyce Onoromhenre Agofure
Dr. Joyce Onoromhenre Agofure is a Post-doctoral fellow and Senior Lecturer in the Department of English and Literary Studies, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria where she teaches African Literature. She is a recipient of the (2016) Fulbright Fellowship, (2018) American Council of Learned Society of the African Humanities Program Postdoctoral Fellowship (ACLS/AHP). Joyce also received an American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) funded Postdoctoral Research Residency at Rhodes University, South Africa between January–March (2019). She is a (2022) African Peacebuilding Network (APN) IRF Fellow and a (2023) Conference awardee/Convener at the 9th European Conference on African Studies (ECAS) in Cologne, Germany. Her research interests include Environmental Literary Studies, Gender Studies, African Conflicts, and Peacebuilding. She has published journal articles and book chapters nationally and internationally on socio-political, environmental, and gender discourses.
