Dr. Pamela Chepngetich Mainye is an APN IRG 2017 grantee, and currently Chair of the Department of Communication and Media Technology, Faculty of Information Science and Technology at Kisii University. She is an alumnus of the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS). Her APN funded research was on 'Community Radio and Fan Club Cultures in Western Kenya'. Her research interests focus on representation, sound studies, migration, and digital cultures.
