Nixon Wamamela
Nixon Wamamela is a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, School of Liberal and Performing Arts, College of Humanities and Social Sciences Makerere University, Uganda. He holds a Bachelors of Arts, Masters, and PhD in Philosophy from Makerere University. He is a beneficiary of Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and SSRC’s 2019 Next Generation of Social Sciences in Africa Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Fellowship award. He is also an awardee of University of Michigan’s African Presidential Scholars Program. Currently, Dr. Wamamela is on African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Early-Researcher Fellowship attached to the Center of Excellence in Good Governance, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. His areas of research, teaching, and publication are political philosophy, ethics, and philosophy of law.
