Mary B. Setrana
Mary B. Setrana was a 2017 APN Individual Research Grant recipient. She is a lecturer at the Centre for Migration Studies, University of Ghana, Legon, Accra, Ghana. Her PhD in Migration Studies was a sandwich program between Radboud University, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, and the University of Ghana. Dr. Setrana has attended the Brown International Advanced Research Institute (BIARI), USA; the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization, Italy; Oikos Young Professionals Academy, Switzerland; and the African Studies Centre and CERES, both in the Netherlands. Her research interests include migration and ethnic conflict, qualitative research methods, peace and conflict, democracy, diaspora, and homeland politics. She is currently a Banga-Africa postdoctoral fellow at the University of South Florida, USA.
