Jude Cocodia
Jude Cocodia is an Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science, Niger Delta University, Nigeria; a MOFA Taiwan Fellow; Visiting Scholar, Advanced Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan; Research Fellow of the Department of Political Studies and Governance, University of the Free State, South Africa; Fellow of the International Peace Research Association, USA; and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. His areas of expertise are Peace, Security, and Democracy in Africa; Climate Politics and Security in Africa; and Sino-Africa Security Relations. His books include: Peacekeeping in the African Union: Building Negative Peace (Routledge, 2018). African Security in the Anthropocene (Springer Nature, 2023); Complex Solutions to Local Problems: Constructed Narratives and External Intervention in Somalia’s Crisis (Anthem Press, 2024).
