Dr. Suhiyini Issah Alhassan
Dr. Suhiyini Issah Alhassan is a research associate at the West African Centre for Shea Innovation and Research at the University for Development Studies, Ghana. He was a recipient of the SSRC Next Gen Completion Fellowship Award in 2023. He holds a PhD in Environmental and Resource Economics, an MPhil in Agribusiness, a B.A. in Development Studies, and a Diploma in Education. Dr. Suhiyini is a Ghanaian-based African Scholar who is interested in linking resource conflict, climate change, adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices, agroforestry for carbon and biodiversity credit, and land grabbing to livelihood outcomes, including multidimensional poverty, equity, food security, and peace and security, among vulnerable and marginalized groups in the Global South.
