Sean Maliehe
Sean Maliehe is a recipient of the SSRC’s 2024 APN Individual Research Fellowship Awards. He is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Historical Studies, National University of Lesotho. His research focuses on the economic history of Lesotho, and development of mobile money in South Africa. He is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Gender and Africa Studies, University of the Free State. He has held two postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pretoria’s Human Economy Programme and Department of Historical & Heritage Studies.
