Mohammed Seid Ali

Mohammed Seid Ali (PhD) is an Associate Professor of Political Economy in the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Bahir Dar University, Ethiopia. He also serves as the Head of Water Governance at the Blue Nile Institute, Bahir Dar University. With a diverse and interdisciplinary academic background in Philosophy, Law, Political Science, conflict studies, and Political Economy, his research interests include African political economy, global governance, human rights and human security, political institutions, gender, migration, and refugee studies. He has published over 35 research articles and a book, recently released by Springer Nature and Palgrave. He is currently one of the few African scholars to have received the African Peacebuilding Development Dynamics Individual Research Fellowship.
