Eugenia Anderson
Eugenia Anderson is a lecturer and gender historian affiliated with the Department of History, Political Science, and Public Administration at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. She holds a PhD in Historical Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her PhD research focuses on the gender question in Social Movements in Africa through the lens of women’s contribution to student activism. Her research interest is focused on women’s leadership in higher education institutions, student activism, women and gender-based violence, and decolonisation studies. She is one of the recipients of the 2025 African Peacebuilding and Development Dynamics (APDD) Individual Research Fellowship (IRF), where she is researching how the gender roles of women as fish mothers generate conflict within fishing communities.
