Dr. Issahaku Adam
Dr. Issahaku Adam is a Professor in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. He specialises in sustainable tourism, natural resource conflict in tourism, climate change adaptation in tourism, tourist behaviour and experience and inclusive tourism. Dr. Adam is a recipient of the Social Science Research Council’s 2024 African Peacebuilding Network Individual Research Fellowship (IRF). He has previously received grants from the World Bank, United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI), the National Geographic Society, Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Global Affairs Canada, USAID, Ghana Heritage Conservation Trust (GHCT), Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS), UK and GIZ for work on varied issues in tourism, environmental conservation and preservation, climate change adaptation, and behaviour change communication amongst others.
