Dr. Okunade is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. His fields of interest cut across borderland studies, security studies, peace and conflict studies, development studies, migration, refugee studies, and higher education in Africa. He has published in several high-impact factor journals such as the Journal of Borderlands Studies, Comparative Migration Studies, African Security Review, among others.
