Ridwan Abiola Kolawole teaches journalism and communication in the Department of Mass Communication, Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun Nigeria. He holds M.A. and B. A. in Communication and Language Arts from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he is currently a doctoral student in Applied Communication. He is a 2022-2023 Doctoral Dissertation Completion Fellow of the Next Generation Social Sciences in Africa (Next Gen) Program of the Social Science Research Council (SSRC), New York. He was a 2020-2021 Research Fellow and a 2019-2020 Dissertation Next Gen Fellow. Kolawole is a Research Associate (Nigerian Team) of a project titled Young Women and Men’s Aspirations and Resilience before, during and beyond COVID-19 funded by the MasterCard Foundation.
