Mohammed Ahmed Gain
Mohammed Ahmed Gain is a professor at Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra. He is also the president of the African Institute for Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation (AIPECT), an independent organization based in Rabat, Morocco, which works on enhancing peace in African countries by leading training workshops, seminars and research projects. He received his PhD in cultural studies from Dhar Lmahraz Faculty of Arts, University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in Fez. He has served as a consultant for various research organizations and centers such as the Mediator for Democracy and Human Rights, and the Annakhil Center for Studies, Training and Mediation. Prof. Gain leads training workshops on human rights protection, mediation and conflict transformation, and contributes to the crafting of reports that cover areas related to these spheres of interest. He is a regular speaker and conference panelist in areas related to human rights, peacebuilding, and security in North and West Africa.
