Michael Ayobami Fajobi is a Faculty Member and PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, specialising in International Relations, from the University of Ibadan. He was a recipient of the 2022 Federal Scholarship Board Award from Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Education in support of his Masters’ dissertation. His research interests include natural resource governance, environmental security, resource conflicts, and peacebuilding in Africa. He has co-authored research on the divestment of international oil companies beyond the Nigerian experience, published in Frontiers in Political Science. His work advances evidence-based scholarship on peace, governance, and sustainable development in Africa. He is a current 2026 APDD doctoral proposal fellow.
