Golda Keng

Golda Keng is a critical pedagogue and peace educator with extensive experience in educational management, curriculum development, and training. She currently heads the African Center for Peace and Security Training within the Pan-African Institute for Security Studies (ISS), which focuses on needs-based training of human security practitioners and policymakers working across the African continent. She also lectures at several African universities on subjects covering peacebuilding, peacekeeping, and radicalization, with an emphasis on intersections with youth and women. Her research interests include advocacy for, and paradigm shifts in peacebuilding in Africa, the development-security nexus, new threats in peace and security, conflict trends, development projections, and youth and women’s resilience and adaptability strategies.
