Blessings Chinsinga holds a BA in Public Administration from Chancellor College, University of Malawi, an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a PhD in Development Studies from the University of Mainz, Germany. An experienced academic, researcher, and consultant, he is currently based at the Department of Political and Administrative Studies, Chancellor College, University of Malawi as an associate professor. He specializes in governance and democracy, public policy analysis, rural livelihood, and local level politics. He is also the deputy director for the Centre for Social Research (CSR) at the University of Malawi, which is the research arm of the Faculty of Social Science since January 2013.
